The purpose of the Laser Applications in Manufacturing and Engineering Workshop to make industry aware of laser applications in manufacturing and engineering research being carried out by the various universities in Indiana.
The event will be held in West Lafayette at Purdue University on April 21, 2006, and is sponsored by ATAIN’s (Access Technology Across Indiana) Indiana Innovation Network (IIN).
Participating industries and universities are Roche Diagnostics, Naval Surface Warfare-Crane Division, Chrysler, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and Purdue University.

Parking is available in the Grant Street Parking Garage, across from the Purdue Memorial Union. An hourly rate is charged at the garage with a maximum of $10.00 per day.
With the purchase of a daily permit, visitors may park in any of the parking garages normally reserved for "A" permits. Daily visitor parking permits are available from the Parking Facilities Office in the Visitor Information Center located in the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage.
Visitors needing special consideration for disability parking should contact the Parking Facilities Office (765-494-9494) in the Visitor Information Center located in the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage.
